How to Plan Webinars and Online Events for Participants Abroad
Choosing event start times that maximize global attendance while stating precise multi-zone invitations.
When hosting global webinars, 13:00 to 15:00 UTC is historically the sweet spot for Europe and the Americas (09:00 NY, 15:00 Paris). However, this excludes East Asia and Australia (midnight/early hours).
To engage an Asia-Pacific audience, schedule a twin session or anchor around 06:00 to 08:00 UTC (15:00 Tokyo, 09:00 Madrid). Always state the event in UTC alongside at least three key participant city times, and embed a direct calendar file (.ics).
